This forklift operator safety training course is a focused operations and safety training for operators.

Industrial forklifts are covered in this class. Rough terrain forklifts can be covered by special request. Operator qualification will be performed.

Material covered in this course:

    Fork truck maneuvering

    The mechanics of the Fork Truck

    Daily inspections

    Fuel/Electric storage

    ANSI and OSHA standards

    Safe practices

    Proper care and maintenance

    Physics 101

This training meets or exceeds all requirements of OSHA 1910.172

In addition to equipment specific safety training, OSHA requires operators to be evaluated on the equipment they operate.  While this can be done by a supervisor, most of our customers prefer a 3rd party evaluation.  Operators receive a certificate as well as a wallet card which includes the make, model and serial number of the equipment they were tested on.
