Currently, your state does not mandate a Crane Operator License. Please beware that soon you will need a Crane Operator Certificate to operate a crane if Alaska decides not to commence licensing. A growing number of jobs are now requiring Crane Operator Certification.

Kentucky cites manufacturer for exposing workers to safety hazards
Kentucky Occupational Safety and Health cited Metalsa Structural Products Inc. in Hopkinsville for exposing workers to safety hazards. Kentucky OSH inspectors concluded that the company failed to ensure proper that lockout/tagout procedures were followed while workers performed maintenance on a robotic machine, exposing them to amputation hazards. Inspectors also found that the company failed to conduct inspections on the control of hazardous energy and attach lockout/tagout devices on machinery. The company was previously cited for violations of these standards in 2013
Crane Operator Certification Training Kentucky
All Purpose Crane Training provides Mobile Crane Training and certification for crane operators. Our two to three day prep class will help crane operators pass the required written test. 1926.1400 new Osha crane and rigging standard will be in affect November 10th 2017. We can provide Crane or Rigger certification and training in all states and cites.
- Crane operators using cranes that have 2000 lbs. and above lifting capacity being used on construction sites or in a construction process, will need to be certified by an accredited crane operator testing organization.
